The Pacific Forest Trust’s Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument – Campaign to Complete the Vision is an ongoing initiative to purchase and conserve unprotected private forestlands within the Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument (CSNM) planning area and transfer the acquired lands to federal ownership for official inclusion in the Monument. I named the campaign, wrote, designed and art directed. I also supervised and contributed to the media relations efforts. 

This campaign has also been very successful. During my four-plus years with the Trust, the organizations acquired nearly 5,000 acres of properties from willing sellers, successfully lobbied Congress to earmark funds for their transfer to federal ownership and transferred the first 1,000 acres to the Bureau of Land Management in 2009. The campaign also garnered significant newspaper and television coverage in Oregon.
