California Forest Futures 2005 was a historic forest policy conference produced by the Pacific Forest Trust and U.C. Berkeley that brought together forest stakeholders – policymakers, land use experts, conservationists, timber industry representatives, scientists and others – from across the state to examine the issue of forest loss and how to best RetainSustain and Gain from California’s economic and ecologically vital forestlands.

The conference was attended by more than 250 participants and was well-received in the media where it was covered by the Sacramento Bee, California Coast & Ocean, Capitol Weekly, the “California Report” and KFBK News.

I wrote and designed the conference branding, event marketing and on-site promotions. I collaborated with U.C. Berkeley on the media outreach.
