PACIFIC FOREST TRUST
As Communications Director of the Pacific Forest Trust, I helped the organization grow in stature, size and revenue to become the nation’s leading voice for the conservation of working forests and the promotion of their climate benefits.
My leadership helped the Trust:
• Earn prestigious awards from the Environmental Protection Agency and James Irvine Foundation
• Garner high-profile media coverage in outlets ranging from the Wall Street Journal and People Magazine to National Public Radio, PBS and Yahoo News
• Reach and appeal to a broader base of constituents with dramatically enriched newsletters, e-bulletins, annual reports, campaign materials, fundraising galas, event marketing and more
• Enter the social media sphere with a news blog, YouTube channel and Twitter feed
• Succeed in conserving vital forestlands within the Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument, bordering Yosemite National Park, near Mt. Shasta and throughout the Sierra Valley
